It is also referred to as AO4I-EX. The module has a redundancy feature for power and communication and supports hot configuration in run and hot swap functionality. The output signal of the module is 0/4...20 mA for actuators. The AO920S is compatible with the Advant 800xA and S900 I/O systems and can be safely located in hazardous-rated areas according to ATEX.
