The module slides easily into the module housing and does not interfere with any other module's operation. Each I/O point is electrically isolated from the controller by an optical coupler.

The Schneider Electric / Modicon / AEG 800 Series Analog I/O Modules can be inserted into any location in the 800 series I/O structure. An example of this is when you are replacing repeaters that they are fully compatible with. 

The optical fiber repeaters module format is Quantum so it can be used as a standalone device with a single power supply in a rack with three slots.

These inputs can be received from push buttons, limit and proximity switches, as well as other 115 Vac sources.
