This cutting board is made from untreated Bamboo that is free from chemicals. This also avoids any need for using separate plastic trays to collect the cut portions. Wash with warm soap water and do not use in Dishwasher.

BAMBOO CUTTING BOARDS ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE! THEY WILL WARP OR BREAK IN THE DISHWASHER*. Wash by hand with warm water and dish soap.
Store the kitchen boards in a dry place and don't let them soak in the sink.
To extend their service life, oil the kitchen boards every few months with food-grade mineral oil, or beeswax. Rub it into the bamboo, wipe the excess with a paper towel and let it set overnight.
