3300 XL 8 mm system has the most cutting-edge performance in an eddy current proximity transducer system. The standard API 670 Standard (4th Edition) for mechanical configuration, linear range, precision, and temperature stability is also fully met by the standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5 meter system.
The total interchangeability of the probe, extension cable and Proximitor Sensor in all 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer Systems enables this level of performance without the requirement for bench calibration or individual component matching.
Additionally, connection guards can be purchased pre-installed on 3300 XL 8 mm Probes and Extension Cables. For installation in the field, connector shields can also be provided separately (such as when the cable must be run through a restrictive conduit). All installations should include connector protectors since they promote environmental protection.
