The 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor feature corrosion-resistant, gold-plated ClickLoc connectors for enhanced durability. These components represent improvements over previous designs, offering better reliability and performance. For tachometer or overspeed measurements, it is recommended to consult the Bently Nevada Applications Note, "Considerations when using Eddy Current Proximity Probes for Overspeed Protection Applications."
Additionally, 3300 XL 8 mm components are electrically and physically interchangeable with non-XL 3300 5 mm and 8 mm components, providing flexibility in use. A patented TipLoc molding method ensures a more robust bond between the probe tip and the probe body, further enhancing the system's reliability.
