The Bently Nevada™ 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor Module is a half-height, two-channel module designed to provide Keyphasor signals to the monitor modules within a 3500 rack. It receives input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups and converts them into digital Keyphasor signals that indicate when the Keyphasor mark on the shaft coincides with the Keyphasor transducer.

The module features two threshold modes:
AutoThreshold: The minimum signal amplitude required for triggering is 2 volts peak-to-peak, and the minimum frequency is 120 rpm (2 Hz).
ManualThreshold: This mode is used for inputs above 0.017 Hz (1 rpm for 1 event per revolution). The threshold is user-selectable from 0 to -20 volts DC, with a minimum signal amplitude of 500 millivolts peak-to-peak.

3500/25 Functional Description
For regular setup, the 3500 Machinery Protection System can accept up to four Keyphasor signals, and for paired configuration, it can accept up to eight.
A spinning shaft or gear's once-per-turn or multiple-event-per-turn pulse known as a keyphasor signal can be used to detect timing precisely.
As a result, shaft rotative speed and vector characteristics like 1X vibration amplitude and Phase can be measured by 3500 monitor modules and external diagnostic tools.
