The 3500/46M Hydro Monitor is a versatile four-channel device designed to accept signals from a range of sensors, including proximity, seismic, dynamic pressure, and air gap sensors. This device processes these signals to measure vibration, position, and both static and dynamic pressure. It is capable of detecting and alarming based on user-programmable thresholds. Specifically, the Hydro Radial Vibration channels combine shaft gap movement with the NX amplitude, enabling it to detect shear-pin failures effectively.
Each channel in the 3500/46M Hydro Monitor can be programmed in pairs, with the flexibility to configure them either identically or differently. The monitor supports a wide array of functions, including Hydro Radial Vibration, Hydro Air Gap, Hydro Velocity, Hydro Acceleration, Hydro Thrust, and more. In addition, it can perform multimode monitoring for various parameters like Hydro Velocity, Thrust, and Dynamic Pressure.
For the signal inputs, the device can handle 1 to 4 sensor inputs per channel, including proximity, air gap, velocity, and acceleration sensors. It has a typical power consumption of 7.7 watts. The input impedance for the proximity and velocity signals is 10 kΩ, while for the Velomitor, it is 3.5 MΩ. This extensive range of capabilities makes the 3500/46M Hydro Monitor ideal for monitoring critical machinery and ensuring early detection of faults across various parameters.
