About the silicon carbide use:
-----Pre-dispersed, water and ethanol as medium dispersion by mechanical and then mixed with the matrix material before use the silicon carbide whisker.
------Generally common ceramic added in an amount 1-10%, the greater the true density of the base material, the added amount of silicon carbide whiskers will drop; organic material addition amount of the with 0.5-3%.
------If mixed the silicon carbide whiskers and ceramic materials, recommend mechanical stirring or slurry of wet milling, can reduce the silicon carbide whiskers at high intensity mixing conditions to break the odds.
------Semiconductor and catalytic testing, kindly suggest the customer pickling removal sorbate again to increase the activity of research to achieve the best results.
-------In aerobic conditions, whisker heating temperature shall not exceed 700 ℃.
