The concentration of carbopol is mixed thoroughly, and the carbopol is separated by the NaCl precipitation method, and then the supernatant and the carbopol precipitation are taken for flocculent reaction.

The results of the study found that the content of tetanus toxoid in the supernatant was very high, showing a typical flocculent precipitate, while the carbopol precipitate did not contain any tetanus toxoid, and the flocculent reaction was negative. This study initially established the biological detection method of this product in Carbopol gel and its dissolution conditions in Carbopol. It was determined that the Carbopol concentration for this release study should not be higher than 0.25%.
