The AI810 Analog InputModule has 8 channels. Each channelcan be either a voltage orcurrentinput. The currentinputis able to handle a shortcircuitto the transmitter supply atleast 30 V d.c without damage. Currentlimiting is performedwith a PTC resistor. The input resistance of the currentinputis 250 ohm, PTC included.
The voltage inputis able to withstand an over or undervoltage of at least 30 V d.c. Inputresistance is 290k ohm. Transmitter supplycan be connected to L1+, L1- and/or L2+, L2-.
