It is a FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 interface kit package that includes the CI852 communication module. The CI852K01 connects the FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 (FF H1) to the AC 800M controller. The FF H1 has a communication speed of 31.25 kbit/s. It is designed for redundant applications and is used with the ABB Advant S800 I/O system. The module termination units to use with the CI852K01 are TU846 with redundant I/O and TU847 with non-redundant I/O.
