Seed color sorters utilize CCD cameras which analyze the color spectrum of the seed which is presented. Depending on the difference in color variance a seed can either be accepted or rejected.
The accuracy and stability of this color sorter is much greater than methods previously used. The sorter has the capability to sort seeds across a broad spectrum of sizes and colors.
