Buckles come in many types and sizes and shapes, but their function is the same: to connect various parts of the tactical backpack. The buckle that connects to the waist belt is called a waist buckle, the one that connects to the chest strap is called a chest buckle, and the one that connects to the shoulder strap is called a strap buckle.
