The Nivotester FTL325N switch unit is used for limit detection inside liquid storage tanks, suitable for explosive hazardous areas, and can also be used for overflow protection of toxic flammable or non flammable liquid tanks. Two point control and limit detection are perfectly suitable for safety related systems. When used in conjunction with liquidphants with FEL56 or FEL58 electronic plugins, they comply with IEC 61508/IEC 61511 standards and meet SIL2 functional safety requirements.
