Mechanism and application of potassium diformate:
The important reason for potassium diformate used as a feed additive instead of antibiotics is its safety and antimicrobial properties, which are based on its simple and unique molecular structure. The main components, formic acid and potassium formate, exist naturally in the natural and pig intestines, and are eventually decomposed into carbon dioxide and water, which are safe biodegradability. Potassium diformate can reduce the content of anaerobic bacteria, lactobacillus, colibacillus and yeast in chyme of digestive tract. Adding potassium diformate can increase the daily gain and feed intake of piglets.
1.Improve the environment of digestive tract, reduce the PH value of stomach and small intestine, and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria;
2.As substitute antibiotics, have the function of antimicrobial growth promoter. Adding potassium diformate can significantly reduce the content of anaerobic bacteria, colibacillus and salmonella in chyme of digestive tract.
