Potassium hydrogen terephthalate is a firework whistle agent widely used in firework manufacture. It's safe and reliable, having good humidity resistance, good whistle, and strong lifting force and thrust when it's mixed with potassium perchlorate or potassium chlorate.
Requirements to be satisfied after whistling agent is fully mixed with oxidizer (see
table below).
