The SYS68KCPU-40B/16 is Low to mid-range 68K performance for control applications. The CPU-40 provides an ideal platform for
embedded applications where real-time response
is crucial. The CPU-40 is targeted at low- to
mid-range industrial applications and allows 68K
users to protect their software investments while
moving to the newest component technology and
guaranteeing longevity of supply.
The MC68030 is binary compatible to the 680x0 family series and therefore ensures that all
the existing 680x0 user software can run on the CPU-40. The CPU-40 is a solid performing,
fully featured single board computer for real-time embedded control applications.
