Product Description:
The DS200TBQAG1ABB GE RST Terminal Board features 2 90-pin terminal blocks to support a maximum of 180 signal wires that are labeled TB1 and TB2 along with 3 20-pin connectors. The board also features two 20-pin connectors that connect to a ribbon-type cable. When you disconnect a ribbon cable you must only grasp the connector portion of the cable and pull it out of the board. If you grasp the ribbon portion of the cable and pull, you might inadvertently pull the wires out of the connector and lose the signal connection. There are five screw holes that secure the board inside the rack and is very heavy in weight due to the terminal blocks and the multiple signal wires so it must be securely attached to the rack.
All of the terminal components on the board have assigned IDs for all the terminals with signal wires connected to them. It is best practice to write on a strip of paper or tape the ID for the terminal to which it is attached. Doing so will allow you to easily reattach the signal wires to their respective position and avoid any loss of productivity or downtime.
