The GE Fanuc Emerson IC693CHS398 is a 5-slot expansion baseplate that contains a female twenty-five D-type pin connector which is installed at the right side end to link other baseplates. This baseplate can be employed either as local chassis for PLCs or to extend I/O to other places that shouldn?t be more than 15 meters (50 feet). This expansion permits operators to add I/O modules of the PLC and improving the control using a single processor. The IC693CHS398 can be used for PLC systems with I/O which are near to the local chassis.
