The IC697CMM742 TCP/IP Ethernet (Type 2) Interface Module is installed on the GE Series 90-70 PLC rack, and it requires +5 Volts DC and +12 Volts DC voltage from the PLC power for operation. It also draws 2 Amps of maximum backplane current at +5 Volts DC and 0.5 Amps of currents at +12 Volts DC. The IC697CMM742 Module supports the IEEE 802.2 Logical Link Control Class I LAN and the IEEE 802.3 media (CSMA/CD Medium Access Control 10Mbps) LAN, which is capable of operating directly on the 10BaseT and 10Base2 media via the 10BaseT and 10Base2 network ports on the module.
