The IS200BPVCG1 developed by General Electric is a PCB component made for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is part of General Electric?s Speedtronic family of gas and steam turbine management systems. The MKVI is considered a complete protection, control and monitoring solution for heavy-duty turbine systems. This board functions as a backplane card within the Mark VI system and is designed to be placed into a rack system that bisects the card. The front of the card remains outside the rack system while the back half is enclosed within the rack. The board features 21 connectors allowing it to accept a variety of cards along with thirty nine male vertical pin ribbon connectors that are designed for the input/output of data from the boards plugged into the backplanes located inside the rack. Cards inserted into these connectors are supported by the surrounding rack system. In addition to the connectors there are 41 I/Os to support the transfer of information to and from the boards plugged into the backplane, fourteen stab-on connectors and six network arrays.
