The General Electric Multilin Motor Manager is a series of control modules that combine several functions for controlling motor capabilities and extensive motor protection. This product was initially developed and produced by General Electric’s industrial automation branch. The Motor Manager II (also known as MM2) is a device that was designed to provide the most sophisticated control and protection for the lowest possible price when compared to other brands and models of discrete motor controls.
This model of the Motor Manager II series is the MMII-PD-1-2-240 is built to cover a large array of functions that low voltage motor controls are meant to handle, such as handling any possible overloads, unbalanced phases, possible contractor failings, and if a rotor is locked and/or stalled. There is also a hot winding thermistor module integrated into this model. If there’s an amount of power that is under the nominal intake required, the undervoltage auto restart kicks in.
