The 531X207LCSAMG1 board was developed as a local area network (LAN) current source board. The manufacturer, General Electric, designed this card for the 531X replacement series of drive boards. As it is a standard component of the drive cabinet, this card can be installed into a number of machines across GE’s brand of drives and exciters. This current source board provides rated power supplies of 5 VDC as well as 15 VDC to the LAN board when installed. A fuse protected 115 VAC input power source provides necessary electricity to the board.
Power supplies required by the LAN communication board is provided by this card. A jumper (J1) found on the board allows users to select between the two provided power supplies. Should these levels be adjusted, users must then adjust the output accordingly. A potentiometer found on the card allows for the output configuration. 531X207LCSAMG1 also features a protected fuse as well as a 12-point terminal board.
