DS215SLCCG1AZZ01A features a LAN control processor, or LCP. This processor works to relay network communications data to and from the board and its attachments. Software for the LCP is store onboard in two replaceable EPROM slots. Dedicated RAM provides communication space for the processor and the unit’s drive control processor.
General Electric’s DS215SLCCG1AZZ01A is a LAN communications card developed for the Mark V series of boards. Both isolated and non-isolated circuits are housed on this board to execute communications for the installed drive or exciter. Local area network (LAN) and drive communications are performed by this board.
