The IC670MDL740 output module comes with 9.2 to 29.5 Volts DC of output voltage range, 0.5 Amps of maximum output current per point, and 4 Amps of maximum output current per module. It draws 111 milliamps of current from the power supply in the BIU.
The IC670MDL740 output module also has the facilities to connect an external power supply through a 5-Amp fuse. It offers individual LEDs for each output point on the logic side and they are visible through the transparent portion of the top plate of the module. The IC670MDL740 output module is a DC positive output module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It consists of 16 sourcing type discrete outputs that switch the loads to the positive side of the DC supply.
