The IC687BEM744 is a FIP Bus Controller designed specifically for the IC967 family of PLCs manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is one of four compatible FIP Bus Controllers and is a half-slot module. Because the module’s architecture has a half-width faceplate, it is perfect for installation in an integrated rack.
The IC687BEM744 should be used with a 2.5MHz WorldFIP network. Like the other four FIP Bus Controllers, the IC687BEM744 allow for TCP/IP communications in addition to generic messaging compatibility and support.The restart button allows the user to restart the module or to reload software while simultaneously restarting the module.
