It supports communication of up to 125 Profibus DP slaves, enabling implementation of Remote I/O architecture and communication to other devices such as gateways, HMI, SCADA and other devices.

For Remote I/O functionality, each Profibus slave is able to receive 244 Bytes of input data and send 244 Bytes of output data.

In order to configure the IC693PBM200 GE Fanuc Profibus DP Master Module Communication Card, the users should have licensed version 2.6 or later of the Proficy Machine Edition Logic Developer software.
