The IC693PCM301 is installed to the CPU baseplate only except the slot reserved to the CPU which is CPU/1. Additionally, this module is not compatible for installation in expansion or remote racks and with embedded CPU models such as CPU 311, 313 and 323.
The GE Fanuc high-performance IC693PCM301 Programmable Coprocessor Module (PCM) has been designed and manufactured to provide additional processing power to GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controllers or PLCs.The IC693PCM301 enables extended processor capabilities to the host controller especially allowing non-native r 3rd party applications executed by the Series 90-30 controller through the PCM.
