The IC694PWR321 is a 120/240 volt AC or 125 volt DC, 30 Watt Standard Power Supply from the GE Fanuc RX3i Series. The field strength of the suspect radio was measured to be 59 V/m at 4cm from the antenna of the radio, 25 V/m at 1m from the antenna, and 11 V/m at 2m from the antenna. We design our systems to an IEC standard test rating specification of 10 V/m at the equipment under test.
At higher field strengths, the power factor correction circuit is affected, causing the power supply shutdown. For reference, the S90-30 AC power supply does not have this circuit, therefore they are not similarly affected. The tests were performed in a field strength chamber to insure consistent results.
