The IC697CHS790 rack does not require slots or jumpers with the input/output module. The IC697CHS790 rack provides provision for 2-rack operations by using a single power unit for extended I/O requirements. The IC697CHS790 rack supports the power supply extension cable as an accessory. The extension cable must be secured before the power is applied. To reduce system noise immunity in the rack, the power supply mounting must be secured, the GND terminal should be connected to either side of the rack and also connected to the earth ground.
