HCET-A bimetal thermal protector for EV charging
As a supporting facility for the development of new energy vehicles, the charging connector is the link between the charging pile and the electric vehicle. The quality of the charging connector directly affects the safety of the electric vehicle during the charging process. Although the device is small, it plays an important role.
During the charging process of the electric vehicle, the charging current of the charging connector is relatively large, especially when the charging current is very large during fast charging. It is difficult to unplug from the charging socket, which also poses a safety hazard.
The bimetallic thermal switch in the charging connector monitors the temperature of the charging connector and the controller motherboard respectively. When the charging temperature reaches the preset temperature, the EV charging connector thermal protector will automatically cut off the power and stop charging.
