Silver coated copper powder selection recommendations:
1. With the same silver content, the thickness of silver for bigger size silver coated copper is greater then the smaller size silver coated copper. So the bigger size silver coated copper powder has better good oxidation resistance. For example,for a silver content of 30% silver coated copper, the silver layer thickness for 5um is 372nm, while for 1um, the silver layer thickness is 75nm, and therefore, 5um silver coated copper has good conductivity than 1um.
2. The flake powder’s contact area is larger than the spherical one, therefore, the copper flake powder’s conductivity is better than copper spherical. For example: 5um silver coated copper flake’s contact area is bigger than the silver coated copper spherical one, so the flake powder’s conductivity is better than spherical one.
