Hexagonal boron nitride is a loose white powder, similar to the properties of graphite, and is known as the "white graphite". Boron Nitride is with properties of good electrical insulation, thermal resistance and chemical resistance.
Application of Boron Nitride powder:
1. Boron Nitride powder has excellent lubricating property. BN is used as high-temperature lubricant and release agent in varieties of models. The molded boron nitride can make high temperature crucibles and other high temperature resistant products. Boron Nitride can produce super hard material and is used for geological exploration, oil drilling bits and high-speed cutting tools.
2. Boron Nitride powder is widely used in high-voltage high-frequency electric insulators, plasma arc, automatic welding temperature frame coating, high frequency induction furnace materials, semiconductor phase admixture, atomic reactor structural materials, to prevent neutron radiation packaging materials, also used in the transfer window radar, radar antenna and rocket engine medium composition, etc.
3. Boron nitride has thermal stability and good wear resistance and chemical stability, can be used as a temperature sensor sets, rockets, plasma spray and combustion furnace lining material; used as the ceramic matrix composites intensifier, missiles and aircraft antenna window components, electrical insulation, protective clothing, reentry parachute and rocket nose cone nozzle and other materials; for high temperature lubricants, release agents, high-frequency dielectric material and a semiconductor material doped solid phase
4. Boron Nitride powder should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool environment. It should not be exposed to the air for a long time, to prevent agglomeration due to moisture, affecting the dispersion performance and use effect, and should avoid heavy pressure, do not contact with oxidant, and transport according to ordinary goods.
