The 10002/A/1 module accommodates surface-mounted EPROMs containing the system program and has four sockets for the application program memory, allowing for the use of EPROMs or RAM. Without additional memory circuits in the dual in-line (DIL) sockets, a separate memory print (10002/A/1) is placed in the connector strips on the 10002/1/2 module. The 10002/1/2 is a Central Processor Module (CPU), which controls all system operations. It is equipped with 128 Kbytes of application RAM, enabling the execution of small application programs directly in RAM. Additionally, the CPU module includes battery back-up circuits to ensure the preservation of the RAM memory.
