The diagnostic and battery module (DBM) 10006/2/1 provides a low-cost interface to the user for diagnosing the FSC system.The displays on the front of the module are used to display messages about the faults found by the diagnostic routines.

The message gives type, rack and position number of the module found to be faulty.In addition to the diagnostic messages, the DBM module is provided with a real-time clock function which gives the current date and time.Both date and time can be displayed on the front of the DBM module and can be read by the application program.
The DBM module is able to display the temperature values measured by two independent temperature sensors inside the Central Part of theFSC system, as well as the 5 Vdc level and the battery voltage. High and low alarm points and high and low trip points can be entered for the temperature measurement during DBM configuration in the 'Configure FSC system' program. |
