This natural convection cooling system eliminates the need for forced ventilation, avoiding issues such as reduced reliability and wear and tear. For optimal performance, it is crucial to ensure unobstructed airflow along both vertical sides of the unit.
The power supply comes with two H88 brackets for easy mounting. While vertical mounting is preferred, horizontal installation is also possible, provided the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C (104°F) at full load. When installed in a 19" rack, a minimum clearance of 1U (1 HE) is required around the unit to ensure proper cooling.
