If the checkbox is ticked, the Speed Output Field Termination Assembly (SOFTA) is
considered to be in use and the front panel indicators will be enabled for normal operation.
Clearing the checkbox will disable Front Panel indicators on the associated group. In this
configuration the SOFTA is considered to be unused.
The default mode of operation is for the SOFTA to be in use.
