The BKM-0001 module has a 24V output circuit to power its three general purpose (24 Vdc) inputs (see Figure 166 on page 281).

The inputs require a contact in the field and will stay operational even if the 24 Vdc of one of the Control Processors is switched off.

When using other connection cables make sure the wire size is adequate and a Weidmuller BVZ 7.

The input of proximity switch signals to the SDIL-1608 module needs to be converted to a level that is suitable for the SDIL-1608 module.
