Note: We can supply different size products of NbC powder according to client's requirements.
It is stable at 1000 to 1100 ° C, and rapidly oxidizes to ruthenium pentoxide at 1100 ° C or higher. The niobium carbide is easily melted in a compound such as titanium carbide, zirconium carbide or tungsten carbide, and together form a homogeneous isomorphous solid solution mixture.
Application of NbC powder:
Niobium carbide NbC powder has good chemical stability and high temperature performance, and is a high melting point and high hardness material. The cerium carbide is insoluble in hot and cold hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and is dissolved in a mixed solution of hot hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. The niobium carbide is easily melted in a compound such as titanium carbide, zirconium carbide, tungsten carbide, etc., and together forms a homogeneous isomorphous solid solution mixture, which is a commonly used cemented carbide additive. As a partial replacement for tantalum carbide, niobium carbide is widely used in refractory high temperature materials and cemented carbide additives. As a carbide hard alloy additive, tantalum carbide is a ternary or quaternary carbide solid solution component such as WC-NbC-C ternary system.

Storage conditions:
NbC powder should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool environment. It should not be exposed to the air for a long time, to prevent agglomeration due to moisture, affecting the dispersion performance and use effect, and should avoid heavy pressure, do not contact with oxidant, and transport according to ordinary goods.
