Product Description
The OptiX OSN6800 platform adopts the ITU-T standard digital packet protocol, and can transparently access various protocols such as IP/Ethernet, ATM, SDH, ESCON, and services at various speeds such as 16Mbps, 5Gbps, 10Gbps, and 40Gbps. OptiX OSN6800 wavelength division equipment adopts multi-protocol wavelength technology, and the system can transmit different types of services (voice, data, storage and video), which is more in line with the development trend of the evolution from TDM to Ethernet/data services. Dynamic optical cross connection (multi-dimensional ROADM), flexible electric layer scheduling (Any ADM) and two-level data processing and other traffic scheduling mechanisms can be provided.
◆ Line speed: OptiX OSN6800 adopts DWDM technology to realize multi-service, large-capacity and all-transparent transmission function.
◆ OTN characteristics: through the application of OTN technology, the flexibility of E2E scheduling of services is guaranteed, and the sharing of bandwidth between different services is realized. With abundant OTN overhead and simple network management operation, network maintenance and fault location can be easily completed.
◆ Ethernet features: OptiX OSN6800 supports a variety of Ethernet services, and provides a variety of complete bearing schemes.
◆ CWDM features: adopting CWDM technology, OptiX OSN6800 can provide C-band 8-wave CWDM transmission scheme in accordance with ITU-T G.694.2 standard, with single-wave access rate of 2.5Gbit/s or 5Gbit/s.

Traditional WDM networks were statically configured by maintenance engineers on the NMS. Manual intervention is still needed to satisfy certain requests, such as connection set-up or tear-down, which results in a long response time. The ASON allows for automatic establishment/release of switching and connections to achieve quick service provisioning.
The OptiX OSN 6800 supports 2M, 1588v2, and synchronous Ethernet clocks, meeting the clock precision requirements of WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000, and LTE/LTE-A.
