The IC695ACC402 is exclusively used with the CPE 330 RX3i CPU.
It plays a crucial role in preserving user memory within the controller during power fluctuations or outages.
When system power is lost, the Energy Pack ensures that the connected CPE 330 writes its user memory contents to non-volatile memory.
Upon system power restoration, the user memory is restored if the CPE 330 is configured to power up from RAM.
Connection and Monitoring:
The Energy Pack is connected to the IC695CPE330 CPU via a dedicated cable (IC695CBL002).
This arrangement allows the Energy Pack to source power from the RX3i backplane for charging its circuitry.
The cable also enables the CPU to monitor the status of the Energy Pack.
In case of backplane power loss, the CPU automatically switches over to the Energy Pack power source, ensuring an orderly power-down sequence.
