The T9431 is an Analog Input Module that resides in the Trusted™ Controller Chassis, providing the master interface between the Inter-Module Bus (IMB) in the chassis and the Expander Bus. The Expander Bus enables the implementation of multiple chassis systems using UTP cable connections while maintaining the fault-tolerant, high-bandwidth capabilities of the IMB.
The module ensures fault containment for the Expander Bus, the module itself, and the IMB in the Controller Chassis. It is fault-tolerant, utilizing HIFT TMR architecture, and features comprehensive diagnostics, monitoring, and testing to facilitate rapid fault identification. This design ensures that the effects of any potential faults are localized, maximizing system availability.
