Ericsson RBS6000 Base Station BST, GSM Base Station, KRC 118 63/1
The RBS 6000 series base station is Ericsson next generation, Which is a the new equipment supporting a variety of the standard single cabinet mixed network. It has two kinds of RBS. That is the indoor macro Station RBS6201 and Distributed base station RBS6601.
RBS6000 main component is a digital processing unit (Digital Unit) and the RF unit(Radio Unit). The digital processing unit mainly includes a baseband signal processing module and the transmission interface; RF unit is a transceiver, to complete the processing of the RF signal.
RBS6201 base stations for indoor macro base station. , RBS 6201 simplifies cabinet design and an innovative modular way to build a large-capacity sites being integrated in a single cabinet. it is divided in to five parts: Cooling System, Digital unit, RF unit, Power supply module and Transmission module. Radio unit KRC 118 63/1 is one of the part of the RBS 6201.
RBS 6601 is a remote base station radio. A master unit (MU) can be connected to up to six remote radio unit (RRUS), flexible networking. RRUS specifically designed for installation in the vicinity of the antenna, in order to avoid the feeder loss. It has the advantage of Small size, light weight, easy to carry, easy to install, an independent, which is the first choice for space-saving and secure access.
