Low Loss Amorphous Current Transformer Nanocrystalline Transformer Core Amorphous materials core

The iron core made of nanocrystalline ribbon has high magnetic permeability and low coercivity. It is especially sensitive to leakage current in the initial stage of magnetization. The leakage switch made with this iron core has a small operating current. At the same time, it has good resistance to high current impact. Because the nanocrystal um is an order of magnitude higher than that of permalloy and has high sensitivity, the number of primary winding turns can be reduced for leakage switches that require the same sensitivity, thereby reducing the volume of the leakage switch accordingly. It not only saves costs but also meets technical requirements.

Performance Characteristics:

Amorphous alloy current transformer uses amorphous alloy material as the core material, which better solves the problems existing in the traditional current transformer. Amorphous alloy has the advantages of low hysteresis, low loss and high saturation magnetic induction strength, which can effectively improve the measurement accuracy. In addition, amorphous alloy current transformer has the characteristics of small size, light weight, flexible installation, etc., which is convenient for the installation and use of equipment.

Iron-based nanocrystalline materials are formulated with Fe,Si,B,Cu,Nb. Firstly, through fast cooling technology, the nanocrystalline alloys are molded directly from molten steel into amorphous thin strips, and then through vacuum or protective atmosphere heat treatment, the amorphous crystals are crystallized into crystalline structure with nanoscale scale, and then they become our nanocrystalline materials. Through this revolutionary production process, we get superior performance magnetic properties, high magnetic induction, high permeability, low coercivity and low iron loss. Nanocrystalline material is a new type of soft magnetic material with low carbon and environmental protection.

Compared with ferrite, nanocrystals have higher Curie temperature and can work reliably even at high temperatures up to 180°C. Nanocrystals have higher permeability and higher saturation magnetic induction strength, and nanocrystal cores can significantly reduce the weight and volume, and the power loss of copper windings is usually 50-70% of that of ferrite. It is suitable for consumer electronic equipment such as inverter drives, EV controllers, inverter air-conditioners, LCD TVs, electric ceramic ovens, etc. It is also suitable for EMC management in the field of industrial power supply such as inverter welders.

Application:

Nanocrystalline cores made of iron-based nanocrystalline materials are mainly used in common mode inductors, high-frequency transformers, current transformers, drive transformers, network transformers, magnetic beads, magnetic amplifiers, filtering inductors, chokes, PFC inductors, and other power electronic applications. They have been widely used in switching power supply, household appliances, industrial power equipment, communication power supply, network energy, photovoltaic inverter, wind power generation, IGBT inverter power supply, high power laser power supply and medical equipment power supply

Using iron-based nanocrystalline alloy to make the leakage protection switch core has the following performance characteristics:

1. Low coercivity and high initial magnetic permeability - can reduce the operating current of the leakage switch

2. The saturation magnetic induction intensity is higher than that of permalloy - it is helpful to choose a higher working magnetic induction point

3. High magnetic permeability - greatly improves the accuracy of the transformer and reduces the ratio difference

4. Light weight and low cost - the price is significantly better than that of permalloy

5. It has good overload resistance and good temperature stability - it can work for a long time at 55~130℃. Magnetic performance parameters of iron-based nanocrystalline alloy used in the core of leakage protection switch transformer (compared with permalloy)
