Mupirocin is a topical antibiotic for external use, which is a
substance produced by Pseudomonas fluorescens culture fluid, namely Pseudomonas
A. Its antibacterial effect is mainly by reversibly combining with isoleucine
transfer RNA synthetase, preventing isoleucine infiltration, and stopping the
synthesis of isoleucine-containing protein in cells to play a bactericidal or
bacteriostatic role. Mupirocin shows
bacteriostatic effect at very low concentration and bactericidal effect at high
concentration. Mupirocin is highly
sensitive to various Gram-positive cocci related to skin infections, especially
Staphylococcus and Streptococcus. It is also effective against resistant
Staphylococcus aureus; Neisseria gonorrhoeae has some antibacterial effect; it
is not sensitive to most anaerobic bacteria and normal skin flora. The
incidence of drug-resistant mutants in vitro is very low.
We are professional mupirocin
manufacturer and we have mupirocin for
sale including mupirocin for acne, mupirocin for
ringworm and mupirocin for eczema.
