How to polish quartz slabs? When we want to polish quartz slabs after its solidification for more than 24 hours, it generally should take three steps. Firstly, we will decide thickness of slabs, also by polishing machine. In this step, we can make quartz slab flat at both sides, so there would be no cracks when you cut slab to laminate edges. Secondly, we will cut four slab edges to make edge 90 degree flat. Thirdly, we start polishing the quartz surface to reach more than 40 degree of shinning. Actually, both sides can be polished for top surface, but normally one side is enough.
