PA-EVOH-PP Multiple Layers Coextruded Retort Film or Bag
Retort film is a packaging film used in the food industry for products requiring sterilization processing, which is a method of preserving food in an airtight container. The cooking film is designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures used in the cooking process without compromising the quality or safety of the food inside. They are usually made of special heat-resistant materials such as polyester, nylon, or polypropylene.
The main structure of the retort film is usually made of different layers of materials, which are selected for their specific properties in order to provide protection and durability during the strilization process. Common structures of retort films may include EVOH layers, nylon layers, and polypropylene layers. Together, these layers provide heat resistance, barrier properties and strength to ensure the safety and quality of packaged foods.
The main application of retort film is includes a wide variety of products such as ready meals, soups, sauces, pet food and more.
The key to the production of retort films or bags is high quality coextruded or laminate material. Coextruded PA/EVOH/PP Laminated with thin foil layers create a barrier to impermeable gases and moisture entering or leaving the package. Glue the layers of the cooking bag together for a securely sealed and polished appearance.
