Permanent neodymium arc magnets for motors
Arc magnets can be seen as a part of ring magnets or disc magnets. Sometimes arc magnets are called as segments magnets. Neodymium arc magnets are mostly used in electronic machines, equipment, permanent magnet motors, generators, rotors, stators, couplings, wind turbine and other applications. These products will generate a lot of heat and energy in high speed running. So the built-in arc magnets have to withstand high temperature in operating.
Details
Material: Neodymium (NdFeB)
Grade: N45H
Maximum Temperature: 120 Degree Celsus / 248 deg F
Coating: Nickel (NiCuNi)
Magnetization: Inside Curve to Outside Curve, to form a ring
Tolerance: +/-0.1mm
These strong magnets are made out of high-temperature materials of grade N45H, which can work under the temperature of up to 120-degree centigrade. 6 pieces per circle makes it perform perfectly steady. NiCuNi triple coatings is great for corrossion resistance.
Platings / Coatings
Neodymium magnets are a composition of mostly Neodymium, Iron and Boron. To protect the magnet from corrosion and to strengthen the brittle magnet material, it is usually preferable for the magnet to be coated. There are a variety of options for coatings, but nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) is the most common and usually preferred. Some other options for coating are zinc, tin, copper, epoxy, silver and gold.
Applications
NdFeB rare earth magnets are mainly used in motors, generators, poly filters, measuring instruments, magnetic drives, magnetic resonance, sensors, linear actuators, microphone assemblies, speakers, magnetic hooks, MRI/NMR.
