Finally, a flocking process is used, where fine, fuzzy fibers are adhered to the surface of the fiberglass blank. This flocking technique creates the long, shaggy fur effect on the monster figure.
The combination of the precise 3D printed fiberglass blank and the meticulous flocking application allows for the manufacture of a high-quality, plush monster figure that perfectly translates the original 2D concept into a 3-dimensional form.
