Working principle of 808nm diode laser vacuum assited hair removal
1.The skin is gently sucked into hand piece by vacuum suction. Skin senses vacuum pressure rather than laser pulse. Skin is stretched thin and hair is pulled closer to laser energy source.
2.Meanwhile stretching reduces the density of melanocytes in skin, therefore less energy is absorbed by the epidermis.
3.Vacuum pressure constricts vessels, blanches tissue. Less energy lost to competing chromophores, so more laser light are able to reach hair follicle.
4.Laser energy is absorbed by follicular melan in hair then heat up. Heat energy destroy hair follicle and its ability to regrow.
